Product Classification
According to whether there is edge rubber: Molded edge belt and Cut edge belt.
According to their cover rubber types: Heat-resistant, Oil-resistant, Flame-resistant, and Anti-static, among others. The appropriate cover rubber type is selected based on the specific application requirements.
Product Structure
An EP conveyor belt usually consists of the following components:
1. Top cover layer - this is the outer layer of the belt and protects the carcass from wear and tear, abrasion, and other damage.
2. Carcass - this is the main body of the belt and provides the tensile strength required to carry material.
3. Bottom cover layer - this is the inner layer of the belt and protects the carcass from moisture, heat, and other forms of damage. It also prevents material from penetrating the carcass and causing damage.
4. Fabric plies - these are the layers of polyester and nylon fabric that make up the carcass. The number of plies used in the construction of the belt determines its tensile strength and overall durability.EP conveyor belts can also have additional components such as edge reinforcements, splice materials, and other features depending on the specific application requirements.
Product Features
Polyester (EP) conveyor belt has the advantages of high initial modulus, the good thermal stability of belt body size, fatigue and wear resistance, erosion resistance of water/steam/chemical, high strength, small elongation, impact resistance, excellent groove formation ability and long service life. The polyester conveyor belt is the developing trend of the fabric conveyor belt.
Product Use
Polyester conveyor belt (usually named as EP conveyor belt), applied for medium and long distance for heavy loading materials, its tension resistant body is canvas woven by polyester in warp and nylon in weft. Its advantage including low elongation, impact resistance, high stability and high heat resistance.
